Quillén Demo Recording 

November 2023

After their participation in the NY Theatre Festival Winterfest, the Quillén team is creating a demo recording. Alex is excited to revisit the role of Cuca Blanca, a kind but slightly annoying bird-like creature who helps Quillén on his quest.

Quillén is a new musical about a boy who has lost his father and moves with his mother to a new home in Chile. The story follows the boy, Quillén, as he journeys through Chilean and Mapuche mythology to find out more about his father.

Quillén, New York Theatre Festival Winterfest

It Happened in Key West

The Yachting Class film 

July - August 2021

Alex is excited to begin filming for The Yachting Class in Stamford, CT. After receiving a reading in February 2019, The Yachting Class was slated for a full production in June 2020 (cancelled due to COVID-19). Alex will reprise her role in this filmed version and it will be her second time originating the leading woman character in a George Bradt piece.

After some updates and revisions, the creators of Mr. T and Mary of St. Francis will hold a closed zoom reading of the latest draft. As a longtime Pride & Prejudice fan, Alex is doubly excited to participate in Australian playwright Emma Wood's new work. After productions in Australia and the UK, this reading will help gauge the American response to Mr. Bennet's Bride. Alex will read the supporting role of Clara Bowman, a quirky artist whom Mr. Bennet rejects.

Say Nothing Zoom Reading

Alex is excited to take a quick break from self tapes and dance classes during quarantine to participate in Say Nothing's 3rd reading. She will reprise her roles of Michelina and Gioanna. 

 

This is an online reading of the play, based on the multi-award-winning screenplay of the same name. Written by Letty Serra and Jon Freda. Proceeds from this production will be directed to help areas of Italy especially affected by COVID-19.

Alex is excited to portray "Erin's Sister" in film The Miseducation of Cameron Post directed by Desiree Akhavan. Alex will receive her first Taft-Hartley from the role.
